We are currently expanding our team and seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join us as a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator. As a Cybersecurity Systems Administrator at Maple GRC, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ systems comply with industry standards, including ISO 27001, Cyber Secure Canada, and other cybersecurity GRC frameworks. You will be responsible for client onboarding, providing system administration, troubleshooting, and offering technical support. The role involves participating in Zoom video calls with clients, with the camera on, to facilitate clear communication and provide ongoing assistance.
Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their needs, onboard them smoothly into our systems, and guide them through necessary steps for successful implementation.
System Administration: Maintain and update system admin manuals for different states, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
Support: Answer client queries promptly and provide top-tier technical support across various cybersecurity platforms.
Documentation: Ensure proper documentation for all tasks and processes, from client onboarding to troubleshooting.
Continuous Improvement: Stay agile, keep up with the latest trends in the cybersecurity industry, and implement improvements in your work process.
Training Provided: Beyond basic systems admin and troubleshooting skills, you will receive comprehensive training in advanced cybersecurity tools, compliance practices, GRC frameworks, and specialized system administration skills to continuously enhance your expertise.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to share knowledge, resolve issues, and deliver superior service to clients.
Fluency: Excellent written, spoken, and listening skills in English (must be proficient in all aspects of language).
Engineering or Computer Science degree (preferred).
Presentation Skills: Must be able to effectively present technical information to clients, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
